Arlan has been hang gliding since 1987. He has been certified by the United
States Hang Gliding Association as an Advanced Hang Glider Pilot, a Tandem
Instructor and an Advanced Instructor. Arlan is also a member of the EAA and an Ultra light Flight Instructor.
