Fighting darkness and a late start Dan Dugan attempts to break site launch record at HGC.

In an attempt to break the site record for number of tow's at Hang Glide Chicago. Dan was able to get in 13 flight's, missing the record of 14 by 1, before it got too dark to tow. Dan came out to the field today at about 2:30pm and flew until after 8pm. Dan just soloed in July of this year and is advancing rapidly in his training. With the number of flight's he made today his proficiency at foot landing is apparent. Dan has also had several local thermalling flight's since soloing.

Other happenings at the field today included a flight of over 60 miles by Kris Grzyb, of Aurora. Arlan and Joey went up in T-6's while Jeff was napping at home. Shane had a couple good flight's while students Bonnie and Bob got in a couple tandems each getting closer to soloing.
